The Family Caregiver Centre understands what being a caregiver is about. We offer support, information, referral and guidance to caregivers providing support and assistance to people over 18 years of age in Calgary and surrounding area. Mental Health for Adults of CSSS Cavendish
The mental health program for adults consists of a team of social practitioners, nurses, home support workers and physicians. The team provides a range of services that include evaluation and orientation, crisis intervention, psychosocial support, medical care, and support to caregivers at the CLSC or in the person’s home, depending on the need. The mental health multidisciplinary team works in partnership with community resources and organizations.
